THE RESISTANCE: Footage From First-Ever Live Performance Available

THE RESISTANCE, the new Sweden-based metal band featuring former members of IN FLAMES, THE HAUNTED and GRAVE, made its live debut this past Saturday, October 8 at Club Distortion in Stockholm, Sweden. Fan-filmed video footage of the performance can be viewed below.

THE RESISTANCE's lineup is as follows:

* Marco Aro (FACE DOWN, ex-THE HAUNTED) - Vocals
* Jesper Strmblad (ex-IN FLAMES, DIMENSION ZERO) - Guitar
* Glenn Ljungstrm (ex-IN FLAMES, DIMENSION ZERO) - Guitar
* Alex Losbck Holstad (ex-DESPITE, DECAMERON, CARDINAL SIN) - Bass
* Chris Barkensj (CARNAL FORGE, GODSIC, ex-GRAVE) - Drums

Strmblad quit IN FLAMES in February 2010 in order to continue receiving treatment for his alcohol addiction.

"An Eye For An Eye", the first song from THE RESISTANCE, can be streamed in the YouTube clip below. The track was made available on the sampler CD that was only be distributed to the subscribers of Sweden's Close-Up Magazine in the August 2011 issue.
